Mini Gavino of GINHAWA announces special Baybayin activities to help schools celebrate Buwan ng Wika:

In the Philippines, the month of August is designated as Buwan ng Wika, which is celebrated to promote the national language. Each year, every school in the country holds month-long (or sometimes week-long) activities in observance of this national celebration. Our group, GINHAWA, would like to assist you create a unique, culturally inspiring and value-sensitive program this August that will surely be enjoyed by your students. GINHAWA (Growth In Wholeness and Well-being Associates, Inc.), is an non-profit organization that promotes creativity and cultural wellness at the service of well-being.

We are very pleased to share with you Baybayin Creativity Workshop-Classes profile for your school, scheduled this August 2014. The workshops-classes aim to introduce Baybayin, our ancient script, to a new generation of Filipinos and how the essence and value of our ancient scripts can be a doorway for re-connecting to the Filipino culture.
